The main goal of implementing the project was to contribute to raising social inclusion, reducing negative stereotypes towards people from rural areas, and increasing the self-confidence of 51 participants and 9 group leaders from four countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania) living in rural areas. The specific objectives of the project, successfully fulfilled, were as follows: 1. Change Attitudes: The project aimed to change the attitudes of the 51 participants and find effective tools to reduce stereotypes about youth living in rural areas in the four targeted communities (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania). Through targeted activities and discussions, participants engaged in constructive dialogues that challenged existing negative perceptions. By the end of the project, feedback and observations indicated a noticeable shift in attitudes within the participants and group leaders, reflecting a more inclusive mindset towards rural youth. 2. Increase Self-Confidence: Another key objective was to increase the self-confidence of participants coming from rural areas in the four countries. Participants demonstrated a significant boost in self-confidence, as individuals felt more empowered to tackle challenges and pursue opportunities without succumbing to the negative stereotypes they had previously faced. 3. Familiarize Participants with Alternative Options: The project aimed to familiarize the 51 from the four countries with alternative options for continuous contribution to their personal and professional development and learning. This involved exposing them to opportunities such as online learning resources and Erasmus+ opportunities. Participants actively engaged in these opportunities, broadening their horizons and gaining access to resources that were previously limited in rural settings. As a result, the participants not only discovered new avenues for growth but also embraced a proactive approach to their ongoing development. In summary, the overarching goal was to create a positive impact on the lives of young people from rural areas, addressing the discrimination and negative attitudes they encounter. By achieving the specified objectives, the project aimed for improved social inclusion, reduced stereotypes, and increased self-confidence among the participants.
