By implementation of this project we wanted to help young people improve their key competences (particularly entrepreneurial, language and communication and social) and skills (creative, organizational etc.), support their active citizenship, their awareness about labour market, support intercultural dialogue and tolerance. The aim of the project was also to support cooperation with the partners, work together on various tasks connected with entrepreneurship and fictive firms, exchange knowledge and experience regarding business, exchange ideas for possible future career, discuss problems of the labour market and gain some new knowledge and skills esential for success at the labour market. We wanted to develop key competences of participants through various types of methods of non-formal education, such as games, workshops, discussions, presentations, role-plays, excursion, intercultural activities and evaluation and dissemination activities. The participants were dealing with the topic of entrepreneurship, possibilities of starting their own business, exchanged information about the situation at the labour market in the partner countries, learned about SWOT analysis or promotion of a firm etc.. This way they could improve their key competences first during some activities connected with their future entry to the labour market (e.g. presentations about unemployment, discussing and comparing the results, creating CVs, and preparing role-play activities regarding labour market such as Job interviews) and then during activities focused on creating their fictive firms and working on creating business plans, doing SWOT analysis, creating promotional materials using digital tools, shooting commercials of their fictive firms and final presentation of their fictive firms. The main objectives of the project therefore were: - development of language and communication competences of the participants - rising awareness about labour market in the partner countries - development of entrepreneurial competences of the participants - development of creative and presentation skills - development of social competences Moreover we wanted to allow the participants of the project to explore new cultures, traditions and lifestyles and through mutual learning foster European values such as solidarity, democracy, friendship etc. By implementing intercultural activities we wanted to deal with issues of tolerance coming from other social groups and thus fight with radicalization of youth. The project was also dealing with the needs of partner organizations to increase the quality of their work by involvement of new, more competent youngsters into their activities and by fostering and developing cooperation with foreign partners and by sharing examples of good practice with the other partners. This all came true by implementing the project. Our experience with the work with youngsters coming from disadvantageous groups showed as a high need of young people to improve the level of their key competences and we were focusing on those ones that are essential for their future personal growth and professional career. Our previous experience told us us clearly that particularly entrepreneurial, language and communication and digital competences were those that were essential for youngsters to be able to enter succesfully the labour market in disadvanatageous places and regions. All the partners were coming from regions disadvantaged from economic, geographical or social reasons. The partners were often coming from small villages or regions that face many more problems than rich regions or capitals of the participating countries. The project was therefore intended to support those youngsters in reaching higher competences and thus influence their chances for their better future. In this project we wanted to focus on developing key competences, particularly communication, language, entrepreneurial and social and on improving creative and presentation skills of the participants. The main topic of the project was connected with entrepreneurship and business and was focused on a group of young people who face limited opportunities.
