The worldwide economic slowdown induced by the COVID-19 pandemic has hindered progress towards the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This deceleration has underscored the importance of sustainable agriculture in both global and local contexts. Notably, the food system intersects with human well-being, economic progress, and environmental conservation. Despite its importance, the younger generation often perceives agriculture as unappealing due to its drudgery and low productivity. Consequently, many migrate to urban areas in pursuit of better opportunities. However, youth, being a significant driver of innovation, can play a vital role in revolutionizing the agricultural sector. Research conducted by the youth in our community highlighted a significant knowledge gap among rural youths about sustainable agricultural practices and opportunities. With this background, the core intention of the project was to bring forth strategies to educate the young population about agriculture both at local and international levels. By tapping into the potential of young minds, the project aspired to mitigate ecological threats and promote sustainable agricultural practices, fostering a holistic understanding and application of these practices among rural youth. The primary objectives of the project were: 1. Awareness and Education: Encourage rural youth to grasp the significance of sustainable agriculture, both in terms of its concepts and its contributions to society and the environment. 2. Ecological Balance: Equip these young individuals with knowledge about modern agricultural techniques and technologies that can reduce threats to the ecosystem. 3. Practical Application: Enable rural youth to implement sustainable agricultural practices in their own homes and gardens, turning theoretical knowledge into tangible actions. 4. Fostering Entrepreneurship: Instill a sense of entrepreneurship among the rural youth by promoting these sustainable practices as avenues for employment and self-sustenance.
