EDU-facilitation was a training course for youth workers and educators taking place in the Czech Republic. It was an 8-day experiential learning programme for 30 participants coming from 7 different countries: Czech Republic, Croatia, Greece, Latvia, Romania, Slovakia and Spain. The main goal of this project was to improve creativity and communication skills to create and facilitate meaningful experiential learning workshops and activities in youth work. Participants established and delivered their educational workshops and got feedback for better future applicability. They learned how to use experiential learning and facilitation in their daily lives to increase the learning outcome and impacts of their educational activities in youth work. Participants shared their experience, skills and knowledge from EDU-facilitation Training Course with their friends, peers, family and applied them to improve youth work and cooperation in partner organisations. These workshop templates are based on the personal preference and competences of the facilitating team while considering needs of the partner organisation. This way it serves as a powerful outcome and resource being used by the participants of the partners organisations, project partners and youth workers around Europe. As a follow-up activity participants delivered NFE workshops in their partner organisation in order to apply the experience and knowledge from the project and make an impact on a local level. This way the skills, knowledge and methodology is shared among partner organisations and relevant target groups. Partner organisations and partners strengthened collaboration on educational activities, methods and shared valuable resources to support and establish future local and international projects. YouthPass was used as a recognition of non-formal learning experience. EDU-facilitation was the second advanced edition of this Training Course. This project is improved according to our experience, feedback and evaluations from the previous edition and taking into consideration the current needs of our partner organisations. The main improvement of the second edition was the development of preparation, implementation and follow-up phase to increase the applicability and long term impact of the project. We adjusted all the project phases according to the needs of our partner organisation and participants and European youth work. This way participants learned knowledge, gained the skills and delivered the educational activities, which are actually needed and demanded from the partners organisations and necessary to improve their youth work.
