As a result of our group's research, technology addiction is one of the rapidly increasing problems in the increasingly digital world. Technology addiction, in its simplest form, is the excessive and uncontrolled use of technological tools and reasons. Although technology addiction is generally seen between the ages of 13-25, the onset period of the main addiction is determined as adolescence. The leading symptoms of technology addiction are known as withdrawal symptoms, irritability, embarrassment, and even physical headaches, nausea, and vomiting when left without a phone. Technology addiction has many physical and emotional damages. For example, emotionally, depression, feelings of guilt, and loneliness are the harms of technology addiction. In addition to these, physically; back and headaches, insomnia and excessive weight gain or loss are among the negative effects of technology addiction. When we considered the idea of eliminating technology addiction from the perspective of today's conditions, unfortunately, the possibility of this situation didn't seem high. The reason is that technology has become an integral part of people's lives regardless of their age group. When we thought about this, we decided that we should first realize the importance of including young people in social life instead of aiming to eliminate technology addiction. Humans are social entities. No matter how much we want to isolate ourselves from the outside world, it is not possible to achieve this completely. We need other people as we go about our lives. It is unhealthy for young people to close themselves to others, that is, to be asocial. Interacting with people through communication is one of the sine qua non of socialization. Technology addicts, on the other hand, lead lives far from socializing. They prefer to make friends online in real life. This situation is both unhealthy and dangerous for the person. In the light of all this, the aim of our project was to increase the socialization and communication skills of young people by reducing their technology addiction. Our specific objectives were: 1-To endear nature activities to young people. 2- To reduce the excessive and uncontrolled use of social media by young people. 3- To teach young people the short and long-term harms of technology addiction.
