Objectives

The implementation of this project was driven by a profound commitment to cultivating a society that values and celebrates multiculturalism. Recognizing the historical evolution of civilizations and the transformative impact of technological advancements and increased global connectivity, our initiative aimed to address the imperative for fostering understanding and tolerance among diverse cultures. In a world where cultural diversity is both a reality and a strength, our project sought to bridge gaps and dispel stereotypes, fostering an environment where different cultural identities are not just acknowledged but embraced as integral contributors to the richness of our shared global heritage. The endeavour was rooted in the belief that by imparting knowledge and experiences related to multiculturalism, we could empower participants to play a vital role as cultural ambassadors, contributing to the creation of a more inclusive and harmonious global community. Throughout the implementation of the project, the main aim of the project was to contribute to the formation of a society that has gained awareness of the importance of multiculturalism and has a high tolerance for different cultures. Objectives determined in line with the main aim were the following: 1. By informing the participants about different religions and cultures, to break the prejudices of the youth and the local people and to increase their tolerance through cultural cohesion. 2. By introducing the cultural elements of the partner countries with the participants, to raise awareness about the contribution of the similarities and differences between different cultures to the common world heritage. 3. Introducing the concept and importance of multiculturalism to young people and teaching the culture, lifestyles, dances and music of partner countries. 4. Making the participants aware of the richness of both their own culture and other cultures and motivating them to become cultural ambassadors.
