Objectives

The implementation of this project was driven by a multifaceted vision aimed at addressing the challenges faced by young people with immigrant backgrounds, immigrants, and those from disadvantaged backgrounds. At its core, the project sought to empower young individuals to weave their personal experiences into the fabric of human rights principles. By providing a platform for in-depth discussions on human rights concepts, the initiative aimed to foster critical thinking and a nuanced understanding among participants. Central to the project was the goal of familiarizing young people with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, establishing a common language and foundational values. Additionally, the project aimed to instill an awareness of the significance of a rights-based approach in youth work, integrating human rights principles into program design and implementation. Cultural exchange and the exploration of different perspectives on human rights were pivotal, as the project brought together young individuals from diverse countries. The endeavor also aspired to impart basic knowledge about the legal dimensions of human rights, offering insights into the global frameworks protecting these rights. Ultimately, the project sought to transcend barriers and cultivate relationships among young people from varied cultural backgrounds, fostering a sense of belonging and unity in their collective commitment to advancing human rights within their communities.
