We carried out this project for contribution to the spread of democratic culture, human rights awareness and active citizenship. We informed our participants about democracy, human rights in line with the criteria of the European Court of Human Rights and enable them to internalize the EU values through simulation and group works. We wanted to make contribution to world peace that has been dragged into a deadlock in recent years, to increase the dialogue with the citizens of our countries and share our experiences in the fields of democracy and human rights in order to ensure lasting peace in the world and to avoid prejudices against different cultures, to think that we should emphasize the importance of democratic elections and active citizenship. Thanks to our activities participants internalized the awareness of democracy and active citizenship. Participants became more aware of the importance of democratic elections and will actively participate in elections in their own countries and in Europe. They will be actively involved in the decision-making mechanisms of the group they are affiliated with, utilizing the experience, knowledge, and skills gained from the project. The project provided the participants with the opportunity to make gains in terms of democracy and respect for human rights. Participants have increased awareness and understanding about other cultures and countries. This will support their active participation in democratic life and society in Europe, and to develop European citizenship and identity.
