Social exclusion is a complex phenomenon that sabotages the fundamental values and cohesion of the EU. Numerous reports and studies highlight the growing trend of social exclusion, particularly after pandemia. The number of young people affected is hard to determine, but is clear there is a growing tendency. The complexity and its multiple origins make it quite difficult to prevent but pre-pandemic statistics show that 80% of young Europeans aged 16 to 29 attend at least one cultural activity per year, mainly live shows and despite the current health restrictions, the figures suggest that this trend will continue. Faced with this observation, our ReAct project had as main objective: - To enable participating youth workers to explore and understand the causes and dynamics leading young people to social exclusion: the political, religious, social and personal context, the need for opportunities for inclusion, development and income of young people especially in marginalised areas; - Reflect on behaviour changes leading for increased awareness of social exclusion of young people and NEET; - To present participating youth and social workers with a concrete tool for the prevention of social exclusion of young people: theatre as a means of collective and personal expression in different theatrical methodologies; - To provide participants with practical knowledge on the preparation, implementation and evaluation of theatre activities on the subject of social exclusion with young people; - To create a performance on the theme based on the experience of the participants and which serves them both as a practical learning of theatre activities but also as a reference for addressing the theme of exclusion with their young people; - To create contacts between the participants and the partners in order to exchange practices on the theme of our project and to develop common strategies between the different partners; - To create a guidebook containing resources ready to use connected to the theme of our project; - To develop the European and multicultural awareness of the participants.
