The main objective of The Rise of Non-Formal Education project was to increase the capacity of youth workers working in the field of youth on non-formal learning methods and to ensure that these approaches are applied in youth work in a more effective, conscious, and sustainable manner. The “Rise of Non-Formal Education” project focused on supporting the professional development of youth workers while increasing the recognition and applicability of non-formal education and learning. The specific objectives of our project were as follows: -To develop youth workers' knowledge, skills, and attitudes regarding non-formal education and learning methods; to provide practical development in their skills, capacities, and pedagogical approaches, types of learning, group dynamics, and learner-centered practices in this field, -To enable participants to analyze, develop, and transfer the tools they use in non-formal education practices to their own institutions, -To promote intercultural learning among youth workers and enhance cooperation capacity at the European level, -To support participants in better internalizing the role of youth workers as “facilitators of learning” rather than “educators,” -To promote the effective and conscious use of tools such as Youthpass in order to increase the recognition of non-formal learning in the youth field, -To support methodology sharing between different organizations and create a culture of shared learning, -To support growth of youth workers by bringing together a diverse group of youth workers with little experience and those with great experience to enable peer learning and transfer of knowledge, -To establish sustainable partnerships between organizations working in the youth field and lay the foundations for future Erasmus+ projects. In line with these objectives, a program enriched with various non-formal education methods such as experience sharing, practical workshops, open space method, simulations, creative group work, and daily reflection sessions has been implemented. Participants' learning outcomes have been documented within the Youthpass framework, and the project created impact at both the individual and organizational levels by the end of the project.
