As the humanity,we are at a turning point of exploitating the natural sources and nature.Acting quickly to adapt and reduce the negative consequences of human behavior on the environment is undoubtedly necessary for our survival. As the world continues to grapple with the pandemic and other global challenges, a sustainable future can only be built through youth empowerment and with their meaningful engagement. The green transitions could be a driving force for a better future as they promise new opportunities for countries and individuals. These transitions require changes in values, mind-sets, attitudes and skills so that we can all be part of the change process, and contribute to and benefit from it.The word that covers all these meanings is Eco-Literacy and the people who are ecoliterate will be the ones taking step for all humankind and the nature.Getting support from the youth and opportunities to take up pioneering roles in green recovery efforts will pave the way to accelerate green action. As this green action aims to create a resilient world ,of course youth support is important and needed to help strengthen the green recovery process. Under today’s circumstances and after pandemic’s effects on the world, there is an urgent need for the youth of today to engage in many different sustainable and 'turn to green' behaviours.Despite the efforts made in the field of climate change, it is observed that the awareness of the society and the youth on this issue is low, they do not know how to fight against climate change, and the ecological literacy rate is very low. In order to slow down climate change, all societies, especially young people, need to be aware of this issue and become ecologically literate people and continue to live in this way.Considering this information, the aims of the project are determined, and it is aimed to increase the motivation and competence of young people to fight against climate change, as well as to contribute to reducing the rate of climate change. The activities to be held within this scope are aimed at explaining the concept of "ecological literacy" and making them aware of environmental problems and the effects of climate change. It is aimed that young people gain knowledge and experience on how to fight climate change and stop environmental degradation. Here is the point that we try to activate youth anatomy of action and their ability to read the nature.Besides making them inspire positive attitudes towards nature and getting the conscious of long term economical, social and environmental objectives to ensure well being of generations, we want to give the idea of ''nature is not for us, but we are for nature'' awareness. With our project, we aim to improve their ability to empower and enhance their social inclusion through mindfulness and nature-based practices and methodologies. Our participants will gain an understanding of the importance of truly inclusive environmental locations through their own curiosity, innovation, and non-formal educational research. They will come up with innovative ideas, competitions, exhibitions, fun, perfectionism, as well as reality to discover by themselves that empathy, trust, and humanities can be fostered through nature.Participants will engage in exercises focusing on emotional awareness, mindfulness, and outdoor activities, all of which will help them understand that nature is inclusive but vulnerable and finite. They will re-connect with nature through mindful activities and develop responsibility sense for his local area and for the future). They will develop sustainability competences in order to save resources, reduce energy use and waste, compensate carbon footprint emissions, opt for sustainable food and mobility choices. They will be EcoLiterate youngsters understanding nature and knowing the impact of every step they take and every item they buy on other living things. They will learn from nature that all living organisms are members of a complex, interconnected web of life and that those members inhabiting a particular place depend upon their interconnectedness for survival. By getting the idea from nature that members of a healthy ecosystem do not abuse the resources they need in order to survive, they will try to do their best for nature. Eventually and as our project's aim, they will understand nature and knows the impact of every step they take and every item they buy on other living things They will act reasonably for nature's future and making it infinite as possible as they can.We believe and know from our own experience that the opportunity of being involved in this kind of project will broaden participant’s horizons in many ways with all green impacted and full of awareness activities during all phases of the project.
