With this project we wanted young people to express themselves through their culinary traditions for a greater acceptance of different cultures in rural areas of Europe. Issues such as the advantages and disadvantages of being young in rural areas have been addressed and an environment conducive to intercultural dialogue has been created. In addition, needs have been addressed such as the promotion and participation in international projects of young people with fewer opportunities, especially those living in rural areas, in order to learn about diversity, European citizenship, improve understanding of other cultures and develop social skills and good practices. The objectives of this project were: 1. To know the current situation of European youth in rural areas. 2. To remove cultural, social and economic barriers for young people in rural areas in different European countries. 3. To strengthen the intercultural connection of participants through gastronomy as a tool to express their own culture and learn from others. 4. To raise awareness among participants of other cultures and countries and to strengthen European citizenship by offering them the opportunity to build networks of international contacts. 5. To promote inclusion and equal opportunities of young people from rural areas through participation in international projects. 6. To publicise the Erasmus+ programme and the opportunities it offers to young people.
