Objectives

76 % of Europeans polled in 2019 agreed that gay, lesbian or bisexual people should have the same rights as heterosexual people, up from 71 % in 2015. However, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people can face discrimination in many areas of life, for instance when looking for a job or asking for social security benefits, at school or when they need healthcare. They may also face hate speech and even violence and can feel unsafe in workplaces, schools and public spaces. Studies Shows that social relations should be developed and raising awareness activities of their legal rights should be conducted to influence on societal attitudes toward LGBTI rights (Konnoth,2020; WHO,2022) For this reason, as a non-governmental organization working with LGBTI individuals we decided to organize a project with international cooperation to ensure cultural rapprochement and social relations with these individuals. In this direction, we have determined the goals of our project as follows: *To improve competences of 24 young participants in contexts such as sex, gender, gender identity, gender expressions, gender roles, sexual orientation,Human Rights, LGBTIQ+ rights and Europe and European Commission’s Union of Equality, * To improve competences of 24 participants by addressing the isolation and marginalization of LGBTI individuals in the context of prejudice, stereotyping, human rights, equality and intercultural dialogue, *To improve competences of 24 young participants on the situation of LGBTI individuals in partner countries and Europe good practices about promoting their rights in Europe and beyond * To improve competences of 24 young participants' skills of creativity, musical steamwork and intercultural dialogue to use choral music as a tool to o promote LGBTI rights, gender equality and intercultural dialogue in society and to inspire them to take an active part in society for gender equality and sexual orientation in line with LGBTIQ Equality Strategy 2020-2025 * To promote future collaboration and project participation by improving competences of 36 young participants about Erasmus+ and its Key Actions
