Today, there is a growing concern for the environment, which is increasingly affected by the many problems that affect it. Among these problems we can highlight deforestation, droughts, climate change, pollution of the land, the seas and the air, the loss of biodiversity... To this situation, we must add the lack of awareness about the impacts associated with each human action and irresponsible consumption. For this reason, we believe that it is necessary to reconnect people with nature and give them the skills and knowledge to improve this situation. Through this project, the aim is to connect European youth with the environment, mainly using gastronomy, culture and especially the SDGs related to these issues as a key that facilitates the transformation of young people into people committed to the environment and European values. Taking into account the environmental situation in which we find ourselves immersed, we have considered it necessary to create this project with the idea that it reaches an international perspective. The approach mainly to the consumption of our products in a sustainable and ecological way that we propose to the participants will allow us to educate and make the young participants aware of the need for a responsible and sustainable consumption of our resources so that in this way we can preserve our ecosystems. The objectives of this project are: Create a space for dialogue focused on the SDGs related to food and culture and their implementation in the countries of the European Union Sensitize youth about the importance of caring for and conserving the environment. Develop skills (such as communication, teamwork, critical thinking, problem solving, creativity and environmental awareness) necessary to help them become responsible European citizens and lead sustainable projects. Promote the construction of an active youth committed to environmental, social, economic problems... Stimulate initiatives to work more sustainably and create responsible organizations. Encourage European youth to acquire a greater role in democratic life and therefore in decision-making related to the environment and the fight against climate change.
