The project "The Inclusion of young people through dance and popular songs" is aimed at the INCLUSION of young people in the Euro-Mediterranean area through the implementation of creative activities such as popular songs and dances; because through them young people develop many personal and social capacities. Popular songs and dances since time immemorial have contributed to creating a feeling of group and belonging to a specific culture. It allows to develop communication, strengthen individual expression, development of perceptual-motor skills, encourages creativity... That is why organizations from North Macedonia, Italy, Austria, Jordan, Tunisia, Turkey, France and Spain have decided to carry out this project to share skills, knowledge and experiences in order to respond to the deficiencies suffered by many young people. The project will last ten months and its activity will be carried out through non-formal education methodologies. The activity will take place in Galapagar from August 20-25, 2023 at the “Nuestra Señora de África” Youth Hostel. It will bring together 32 participants among young people between 18-30 years old, 8 group leaders without age limit, 1 trainer or facilitator. The language used will be English. It will be developed through non-formal education with a dynamic, participatory methodology with socialization games that encourage active participation, applying creative thinking in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary environment. Promoting inclusive values of integration and equality, sharing synergies in an environment of reciprocity. During the days of activity, the participants in groups of countries will dance their typical dances and each one will present a popular song from their country. The partners have signed COLLABORATION AND LEARNING AGREEMENTS (internal and external) for each of the phases of the project, where each of the tasks and responsibilities will be defined. MAIN OBJECTIVE To promote the integration of young people in the Euro-Mediterranean area through the implementation of creative activities such as dance and popular songs, exchanging cultural values and feelings to eliminate stereotypes (racism, xenophobia...), creating inclusive and in order to create new tools, knowledge, skills and quality competencies that help young people in the long term to plan their goals and life plans. The participants will have the opportunity to meet other youth from different cultures and geographic areas; Through sharing dances, typical dances and popular songs, inter-connections will be produced, achieving their integration, eliminating cultural barriers and stereotypes. SECONDARY OBJECTIVES: - Promote social inclusion and inter-culturally through Dance as a phenomenon of communication and social relationship -Improve the social and intercultural skills of young people by developing their leadership skills, incorporating values of tolerance, empathy and creativity - Provide greater empowerment so that they can live in a more equal, inclusive and sustainable world - Facilitate the exchange of good practices by promoting the visibility of the Erasmus+ program through the creation of synergies and communication networks - Promote intercultural dialogue and respect for diversity - Know the richness of dance and popular songs - Promote inclusive societies where young people take their place and feel part of them -Creation of new quality tools, skills and competencies, which help them in the short and long term to improve and promote socio-educational and personal development -Creation of a network of cooperation, exchange of experiences and good practices, developing new ideas for the creation of projects aimed at other young people whose purpose is personal development and social growth -Creation of new alliances and strategies at the Euro-Mediterranean level Promote the INCLUSION of young people from different cultures through popular dances and songs exchanging knowledge, customs, cultural values in a multi-cultural context, supporting a committed youth, giving them a voice to serve as promoters of a social transformation creating new intercultural values as a key element for the constitution of inclusive, egalitarian and respectful societies in values.
