This exchange dealt with one of the most important situations for the promoter group: the lack of social skills that they had and that prevented them from facing their lives in a capable way for an adequate social and professional development and that facilitates their mental health. With this context, we considered a project that prepares young people to face real life with adequate social skills. To do this we created a simulation of social situations for training purposes, facing participants with a plausible reality. Encouraging the process of reflection on the lived situations, to analyze and assimilate properly. To reinforce this process we made workshops and discussions to help us better understanding of the situations that gave us new tools to deal with whatever comes from a competent manner. Therefore, thanks to this youth exchange, we liked to: - Reflect on personal social skills as a base to guide and encourage their development. - Increase and improve social skills designed to prepare participants to face real life situations, with particular emphasis on multicultural environments. - Encourage self-esteem, entrepreneurship and the learning capacity of the participants. - Foster personal growth and development of key competencies among participants, especially those with fewer opportunities, through positive interaction with differences and active participation.
