With the execution of this project, the entities that are part of it have wanted to put all our efforts so that people with intellectual diversity can fully enjoy the same opportunities, dreams and aspirations as the rest of people without diversity. For this reason, one of the main objectives of the project has been to achieve a real inclusion of people with disabilities, through actions that include all the aspects of their lives. The path towards full inclusion is achieved step by step, with small actions that have an incredible impact on our people. A small achievement in appearance is a great challenge and an enormous achievement for a person with diversity, who has to triple their efforts to achieve what they want, when the same person, without diversity, would have it at their fingertips without great difficulty. This is intensified if we talk about young people with diversity with great support needs, for whom the options for learning, interrelation and enjoyment are even more limited, and the resources available in our organisations are really scarce to be able to offer them the right to have the same opportunities as the rest of the girls and boys. Through the experiences of this experience, our youngsters with health diversity have been able to live experiences like the rest of youngsters of their age: travelling by plane; going to another country for the first time; meeting people who speak another language and being able to understand each other; making friends; sharing learning and unforgettable moments with other youngsters, etc... Something so simple and accessible for many, is for them a dream, an illusion. a dream, an illusion. And as such, it deserves to be offered and lived. Fulfilling these dreams and responding to these needs is a very complex challenge, especially when it comes to young people with great support needs (severe intellectual diversity, very limited degree of autonomy, very limited mobility, severe dependence, great communication difficulties). But that has been the mission of our entities: to build the wings and help our girls and boys to fly as far as they want to go. All these issues are part of everyday life and obviously they are a difficulty that does not allow our girls and boys to develop with total autonomy. We have previously verified, through other Erasmus + projects in which we had the great opportunity to start offering similar experiences to this one, that when the desire to do something and the necessary support come together, they are capable of fulfilling all their dreams and expectations. For this reason, after the experience lived in the Erasmus + project "TEATRICARTE" with a group of people with diversity who did not speak the same verbal language and even some who do not verbalize their expressions, we were able to verify that barriers do not exist, but that the relationships between people and the group become much more human because they can not communicate only through words. By needing gestures, music, looks that complement the words, everything is intensified and creates a bond that allows the shared moments to be so special that they last forever. For this reason, the aim of TEATRADAS - Theatre gives us wings to fly, has been to provide our girls and boys with intellectual diversity with the opportunity to share an international youth exchange experience that is undoubtedly extremely enriching for them, which has allowed them to use theatre and the arts as a means of communication, without physical, intellectual, sensory or linguistic limits, thus helping them to make their dreams come true, as other girls and boys of their age can do. Our main objective was to surpass the success achieved with the project "TEATRICARTE - Theatre and art communicate us without limits", because with the present project: "TEATRADAS - Theatre gives us wings to fly" our intention was that many more young people with intellectual disabilities would benefit from this unique and unforgettable experience. That is why, apart from all the objectives to be achieved, we also set ourselves a great challenge: to increase the participation of entities from the world of intellectual disabilities that are part of IN-RED, Professional and Business Association of Entities in the field of Disability in Galicia, of which a total of 7 have joined the project, in addition to the previous participants. The remaining ones have not been able to join due to the lack of presence of young people at the moment, but they hope to be able to participate in future opportunities.
