Our main aim in implementing the "EUniversal" project was to foster a culture of tolerance, pluralism, and respect among young people from diverse backgrounds. We wanted to create an environment where participants could develop independent judgment, critical thinking, and ethical reasoning. We aimed to counteract influences that lead to fear and exclusion of others. We brought together young people from various cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, we aimed to promote mutual understanding and respect. We wanted participants to develop capacities for independent judgment and critical thinking. This would help them better understand and respect different perspectives and backgrounds. Encouraging cross-border cooperation was key. We aimed to unite young people from EU and non-EU countries, providing them with a platform to share best practices and experiences. We introduced different non-formal learning methods, we sought to empower young people to recognize and stand against discrimination. This included creating a booklet, posters, and a video to promote non-discrimination and tolerance. We aimed to develop creativity and involve young people in civil life through the promotion of Erasmus+ opportunities. We wanted to increase participants' knowledge about different cultures, histories, and religions. This was intended to break stereotypes and promote good neighborly relations between EU and non-EU states. This project was crucial in today's world, where intolerance and discrimination can lead to social divisions and conflicts. By educating and empowering young people to respect and embrace diversity, we contribute to building a more inclusive and harmonious society. The skills and knowledge gained through this project will help participants become active and responsible citizens who can foster positive change in their communities.
