The project "Feel U Potential" was all partner organisations' response to the reality of local youngsters that could be seen in our surroundings and in ourselves. The main goal was to raise young people’s self-awareness and empower them so that they felt confident enough to take social action, mainly in their local communities. All partners, including youth organisations and NGOs from Italy, Estonia, Poland, and Spain, had observed that many young people lacked knowledge, skills, and tools to explore their inner motivations, values, and beliefs. They did not know how to find or utilize tools that could help them take action to improve themselves, often feeling lost in abstract dimensions of their values and dreams. Consequently, they did not actively participate in their local communities, leading to personal frustration and a lack of motivated and inspired social workers. The team gathered observations and insights from our organizations and personal experiences and, using the problem-solution tree model, identified common needs that we wanted to address with this project. The main objective of the project was to raise participants' self-awareness and help them unlock their potential to contribute to their communities and achieve personal and social goals. To achieve this, we aimed to use tools such as the Iceberg of Personality, the Transtheoretical Model of Human Behavior Change, the SMART Goals model, or the Comfort Zone model. These tools provided participants with a broader understanding of their personal situations and enable them to make better decisions based on their personalities, capabilities, and context. Additionally, providing a space for discussing these models allowed participants to learn from each other's backgrounds in a safe environment conducive to sharing and learning. Our goal was to help participants discover their untapped potential and empower them to voice their opinions and take action in line with their social values. Through the implementation of this project, we supported participants in their self-discovery and the realization of their potential, empowering them to become proactive members of society. We aimed to equip them with tools to set personal and social goals, realize their inner motivations, and work towards achieving their objectives, with a focus on social aspirations to help others. Through non-formal education activities, reflections, and recognition of the learning process, we aimed to achieve the project objectives while creating a safe space for participants to exchange opinions and viewpoints in an intercultural and multilingual environment. This environment would enhance participants' awareness of various cultures and different perspectives on even the deepest topics.
