Following the strategies of the 2030 Agenda of the European Union, developing actions in favour of human rights is a key element in working with young people, taking into consideration the impact produced by youth professionals as references for this population within the spaces of interaction and bond. Thus, social exclusion is defined as the lack of participation in the economic, cultural and social life in their respective societies due to the lack of basic rights, resources or capabilities (access to the law, to the labour framework, to education, to communication technologies, to health and social protection systems), factors that make full social participation possible. Social exclusion is a key concept in the context of the European Union to address situations of poverty, social inequality, vulnerability and marginalization of parts of its population. In the current context of the European Union, affected by the Coronavirus and the recent armed conflicts between Russia and Ukraine, they have caused an increase in forced migrations and the deterioration of the living conditions of the affected population, thus increasing situations of vulnerability and social exclusion. Through socio-educational and artistic intervention, new knowledge is generated, values are worked on and safe spaces are created, linking young people with adult references who act as a mirror for them. Young people acquire values and knowledge not only in formal educational contexts, but in spaces of interaction and leisure with other young people, where youth workers play a relevant role in the generation of non-formal learning. In order to work with the youth group and to develop transversal inclusion and human rights strategies, it is essential to acquire methodological knowledge and multidisciplinary practical experiences that allow obtaining a base of resources adaptable to the different work methodologies in the field of youth and art. That is why we considered it important and necessary to develop a training of trainers that has the capacity to work around a series of objectives shared by all project partners, which result in an improvement of the approaches and strategies of each entity to when looking to come up with a work on human rights and social exclusion among the youth population. The objectives set for this training for professionals in the field of youth have been developed jointly with the entities that make up this partnership, taking into account the needs and concerns of both the professionals and the target youth population: O1. To establish a training space through learning, debate, reflection and knowledge transfer. O2. To make visible the difficulties that come with social exclusion and situations of vulnerability. O3. To give visibility and value the importance of community work and the role of youth leaders. O4. To share and to exchange knowledge, initiatives and proposals. O5. To define and to jointly learn methodologies and strategies to develop socio-educational projects in human rights through art. O6. To propose the development of an artistic project to raise human rights awareness where the methodologies and strategies defined and learned during the training are implemented.
