The Gate To Europe aims to achieve a REAL OPPORTUNITY for PARTICIPATION with a European approach. A coexistence with decisión makers in processes that affect young people. A tool that allows young people, some of them at risk of social exclusion, to be part of Europe and to transmit their concerns and proposals. An ACCESSIBLE space where the aim is to create an active and responsible citizenship. A space where the voice of young people will be lisened and where there will be a close and open space to voice their concerns. Moreover, thanks to the proposed activities, all of them with a European approach, the people involved will improve their skills, building together a fairer, closer, supportive and accessible Europe. It is also intended to give continuity to the commitment of the three entities: to continue with the pedagogical line on Europe, especially in those groups with fewer opportunities. This approach clearly helps to create a more participatory society, from the local to the European level. Youth will be in charge of establishing and transmitting concerns and alternatives. Through participatory consultation, proposals will be elaborated and debates will be generated with decision-makers on issues related to Europe. Results will be analysed and shared with young people and stakeholders. In addition, at all times, we will work to provide real information, far from hoaxes and fake news, hate speech and disinformation. The objectives of the project are: • To carry out a consultation on issues and concerns of young people in our environments from a European dimension. • To transmit, through tools such as questionnaires, debates, meetings, etc., to our local, regional and national political representatives, the concerns and proposals collected. • To create a working group that can carry out future actions with a European dimension, encouraging the active participation of young people. • To educate young people about Europe. The intention is to create a new working community made up of young people. The Gate To Europe will be the previous preparation to later develop new actions that will provide tools and new projects in the future. A new and accessible way to make Europe a closer place, as well as to increase the competences and sensitivities of the people who participate in the phases of the project. The Gate To Europe will serve to break stereotypes and give a positive image of committed youth. Through encounters and coexistence in an atmosphere of FULL DIVERSITY, we will provide opportunities for young people to live experiences and make their voices heard. A project, with young people as protagonists, which will involve: • Learning and growth. • Empowerment. • Breaking down obstacles. • Contributing to the dialogue between youth and the European Union. • Breaking prejudices and stereotypes. • Creating working communities for the future. • Bringing Europe closer to young people. • To build Europe.
