At Fundación del Valle we have wanted to achieve, through the active participation of young people involved in the implementation and development of the project, to promote the development of critical thinking, and to provide, at a European level, the political, social, economic and cultural knowledge in which they are contextualized. Specific: Raise awareness about fundamental rights and common European values: The project has aimed to raise young people's awareness about the essential values of society, promoting a deep understanding of fundamental rights and shared values in the European context. Develop media literacy: We have sought to equip young people with the necessary skills to critically manage and identify information, especially in an environment where fake news, propaganda and misinformation are common challenges. Promote active participation in society: The project has aimed to stimulate the active participation of young people in their local community and society in general. This has allowed us to do so by promoting personal, social and civic skills that allow them to contribute constructively. Promote a critical spirit: The aim has been to promote the critical capacity of young people, allowing them to evaluate the information they receive in an informed manner and form informed opinions. Connect and enliven identity and belonging to the European Union: The project has at all times had the objective of strengthening young people's sense of identity and belonging to the European Union, promoting a deeper understanding of the political, social, economic aspects and cultures that contextualize their environment. “PcE” has sought to empower young people, not only by providing them with relevant knowledge, but also by cultivating critical skills and encouraging their active and conscious participation in society and in the European context.
