The main goal of this project has been to generate spaces for learning about youth participation and the construction of citizenship. Within this objective, we can point out some more specific aspects that have also been worked on: -The importance of generating learning within schools that situates students as a collectivity, and that extols the values of cooperation, co-responsibility and citizenship. -The intention of generating an environment of non-formal education and education in values that provides students with tools and skills so that they can extrapolate them to their immediate context. -The creation of spaces that combat disinformation and political disaffection, promoting critical reflection and collective values as opposed to individualistic ones. -Learning about their rights as young citizens, as well as their opportunities and resources for social participation. -Motivation to participate at local, regional, national and European level within the different platforms related to youth and citizenship. This work corresponds directly to the objectives presented in the application, both at general and specific level, which were: OB. GENERAL: To guarantee the education in citizen participation of young people, taking as a reference the institutes as spaces of concentration of the whole population regardless of their social situation, favoring both equal opportunities and inclusion while building a democratic culture. OB. Specific 1: To promote spaces for non-formal education and education in values within secondary schools, in which students can discover and incorporate basic life skills. OB. Specific 2: To encourage collective reflection based on their own reality and that of the environment in which they live in order to motivate their involvement in the creation of a fairer society, working from solidarity and altruism. OB. Specific 3: To promote youth initiatives with the tools of participatory methodologies. OB. Specific 4: Improve the image of public institutions and learn to work with them as a resource to get proposals across. On the other hand, there are a series of objectives that were worked on through the socio-educational action itself when implementing the project with the students, such as, for example: -Strengthening social skills through teamwork and cooperation. -To develop significant learning about participation and the benefits it generates on a personal and collective level. -Encourage the search for new interests, especially related to participation within the municipality. -To encourage assertive and respectful forms of communication. Finally, there are a series of pedagogical objectives and on personal and group competences that were worked on with the project's organizing driving group, such as: To generate continuous learning through participatory methodologies, which put into practice the skills to be developed: organizational, linguistic, planning, analysis and evaluation, dynamisation, etc. To get to know in greater depth the reality of youth in the Valencian territory, as well as in different municipalities, educational centers, associations, informal groups of young people, etc.
