Youth with intellectual disabilities face severe exclusion, not only due to their own barriers, but also due to those imposed on them by society, which prevent them from enjoying positive growth that allows them to live a full life. They are part of our society and are an essential human capital to help build a better EU; but in order to achieve this, we must offer them an emotional and social environment of joy, friendship, and values through inclusive leisure and sport.
