Our objectives were to organize an exchange designed and planned by the group of young people that were involved in exchange in Mallorca during the fall 2022. The project was designed to be a follow-up of our wonderful exchange experience during the “Intercolles” – project. Our aim was to dig deeper in the participation and study of cultures and ourselves. The objectives of project “College of identity” were to make participants think what are the things that builds us as persons. It is our culture, Finnish or Spanish and nature, history, family, education, etc. In the project we concentrated on what things are common for us all and what are unique to Finnish or Spanish people. In the project our aim was to make a series of empowering photos based on our studies in our identity and cultures – a great mix of both cultures was achieved in the end. Objectives was also to lean about different styles of youth work. Both organizations work among young people on professional base and we have a lot to learn the ways of our work and how to involve young people to be active in life. The main objective in international exchange is to give the young people experience to widen their perspective in life, to learn about different cultures and through this to be more openminded. One of the learning objectives are also active citizenship in your own inhabitant and in Europe in common.
