The aim of the Erasmus + project "Don´t make waves, make a change" was to bring together Finnish and Maltese youth in two youth exchanges. Each youth exchange lasted for a week and were held in Malta and Finland. The jointly selected theme was nature and the environment, aiming to highlight important issues for young people. In Finland, the focus was on the nature of lakes and forests, while in Malta, it was on marine nature. The goal was to understand the different challenges faced by two European countries, especially as climate change progresses. The youth also wanted to discuss how everyday solutions can impact the well-being of the environment.
