THE GOALS OF EUROPE CONVERGENCE WERE AS FOLLOWS: - To create a multilingual European youth network and promote intercultural dialogue by bringing together young participants from different European countries. - To propose participative activities and methods to develop informal, non-formal and experiential learning, as well as the creativity and transmission capacity of young people. - To understand, analyse and compare current European issues, while making existing solutions visible. - To make young people aware of their European citizenship and the opportunities offered by the European Union. - To raise participants' awareness of international social, democratic and environmental issues. - To promote the employability of young people in a changing world by developing their skills and networks. - To encourage international solidarity and non-governmental cooperation and contribute to the preservation of democracy.
