In this continuation of the work we have carried out with young people in 2023, we wanted to continue and develop learning, the acquisition of environmental skills and the practice of surfing; but also to allow young people to continue their reflection on current consumption patterns, and the impact that humans have on their environment. In addition, climate change and significant events in the world and in our regions (forest fires, hailstorms, over the year 2022, have led us to want to strengthen the awareness of young people about these climate changes and to lead them to reflect on the impact of man on his environment. In this 2nd stage, one of the wishes of the management team was also to allow the young people to deepen their roles as actors, in the implementation of the very organization of the project. Giving visibility to their project was also important to us. Since most of the group is already federated (only 6 new out of 30 Franco-Spanish young people in the group in 2023), we kept the system of mixed (Franco-Spanish) organizing commissions that had been created the year because it had worked rather well in the exchanges through the networks. Since the 2022 project, young people have not stopped exchanging through these commissions. We wanted young people to develop contact with the partners of the stay, and make a certain number of reservations themselves, with the various partners or service providers. One of our goals was for them to be the center of the operational organization. Indeed, access to the ERASMUS + "youth mobility" scheme allowed us to carry out this second exchange in total immersion mixed, in France. The general objectives were the following : To pursue the Acquisition of social skills, To pursue the discovery of a new culture To promote the acceptance of difference and to pursue Environmental Awareness Enjoying nature through sport, continuing to practice the flagship activity of our French Atlantic coast, "surfing" To consolidate an international partnership, and particularly a cross-border partnership. The idea is to strengthen the orality of the language. Social and civic needs: It is obvious that for the young inhabitants of the territory of CALI, a vast and rather rural territory, this project is an opportunity to continue to open up to young people from a different culture, and thus continue to accept the difference Community life was the main vector, and a criterion for success. In view of our project developed in July 2022, it was obvious that young people had to pursue this diversity of cultures, to strengthen in them this notion of acceptance, openness to the world around us. To allow young people to familiarize themselves with an environment different from their own and thus promote access to knowledge, by encouraging learning, Specific objectives of the project : Continue the acquisition of social and civic skills by allowing young people to meet other young people of culture, and from different backgrounds, having different lifestyles Strengthen peer learning, emphasizing values such as solidarity, exchange and sharing To make young people aware of the need for collective and citizen awareness around the theme of ecology and its preservation, through the practice of an outdoor activity. Allow young people to discover new flagship practices of our Landes coasts such as "wave-skiing", and thus enjoy the natural environment of the ocean differently. Encourage initiative-taking by putting young people at the heart of the organization of their projects in all its phases (upstream, during, downstream). The youth space in St Seurin continued to develop, in parallel with the Erasmus + project, awareness-raising sessions on the environment of the Atlantic coasts, and actions to preserve these coastlines, thus leading them to get to know their regional territory better, to better understand and protect it. Strengthen their language skills by encouraging oral communication, To allow young people to discover a cross-border country, by promoting Franco-Spanish exchange, in order to reduce the obstacles to cross-border European mobility.
