This project is the concrete realization of what the network of social centers has been developing for several years now: a youth engagement journey with a permanent objective: their empowerment. The project host more than 250 young people during our decennial congress among the 3500 participants, within the framework of a special "youth" approach co-constructed by the young people themselves will allow us to reach several objectives: - The first objective was to extend the network of young people in social centers by showing the multiplicity of potential spaces of commitment: national or local youth networks, civic service, free parliament, board of directors of structures, Juniors assos. Beyond meeting each other (250 people), being part of an even bigger event with 3500 participants will allow them to develop an awareness of "being part of the network of social centers" and to be able to rely on it more easily for their social or professional initiatives. - For the young people, this helped them to bring their proposals on social issues to the adults, who has been present in large numbers, some of whom were leaders and decision-makers at local or national level. For example, some of the young people who participated in the last editions of the national youth networks, came and bring the pleas or debates built on these occasions on the subjects approached (religions, ecology, education...). This will help them develop a sense of legitimacy and recognition, but above all it will give a stronger echo to their words. - The presence of young people also demonstrate the strength of youth within the network of social centers: its number, its diversity, but also the maturity of the subjects it deals with, their indispensable place in the debate. It is not only a question of provoking effects on the young people but also on the adults present, to shake them up so that they give them more space at the local and national level in the network, in the projects as well as in the governance. This allow to reinforce the change of professional practices towards young people, underlined by the motion on Youth Engagement in 2017 in terms of the place, roles and perceptions of young people. - Finally, this gathering also pursues objectives for youth workers: to strengthen them in their professional practices, to allow them to have a space of real practice of non-formal education within the framework of a collective project, to benefit from visibility and recognition, to open spaces of discussion around their jobs and professional practices.
