Objectives

Our initial plan was to organize a one-year project with short training courses and workshops on mobility issues. In the end, the project was organized over 18 months, as the realities in the field, both for our partners and for the people involved and the participants, required more time to set up. So, even though the project was organized a little differently than planned, the various times for stimulating the collective intelligence of the core group of young people and those involved, training sessions, “workshops in motion”, interventions in various public spaces in villages, urban communes, medium-sized towns and Strasbourg, as well as a “Mob'Fest”, a feedback weekend and a review & outlook event, were all part of the project. The project was both an experiment, using tools that had already been tried and tested in the association's usual activities, particularly in terms of the methods of intervention, the temporality and the mix of young people targeted, and a massification of existing actions, drawing inspiration from targeted, one-off initiatives. So, it was a campaign of actions over several territories and throughout the 18 months, punctuated by meetings with various partners, preparation time and work with the young people and people involved. Our objectives were to : - support young people's involvement in local life by strengthening relations with political decision-makers and local players on the transversal issue of mobility, in the broadest sense of the term - contribute to the reflection and appropriation of mobility issues, in all their dimensions - strengthen young people's ability to act and influence on mobility issues, from the local to the international level - raise awareness of mobility issues in the south-western Bas-Rhin region, to strengthen young people's access to opportunities, from local to international.
