Objectives

Young people today are increasingly relying on social media for information, maintaining connections, and finding romantic partners. However, many EU countries do not acknowledge the significance of media education, and it is often not incorporated into school curricula. Because of that, young individuals have to learn about media literacy by themselves. For this reasons, students in Zdravstvena škola Split have recognized importance of social media education and have initiated creation of the project - youth exchange that would focus on importance of social media literacy, promotion of inclusivity and improving mental health of young people. Objectives of this project include: 1. To help young people raise their level of critical media literacy and increase their civic engagement 2. Promoting inclusivity and preventing fake news 3. Improving mental health of young people
