By this project association Alfa Albona and it's partners wanted to explore the different forms of youth work in all the countries, to meet youth workers in order to share experiences, working methods, see what are the good case practices, inspiring activities and methods of working wioth youth, as well as to meet organisation active in the field of youth in Istra region in Croatia, especially in Labin, Pazin and Pula in order to strenghten the cooperation, conduct mutual workshops and learn frome ach other so that together we can develop youth work in Europe. Apart from that we have done the project also to see the differences on youth work in big town and rural areas, to gt deeper understanding of youth policy and youth work, as well as the boundaries neccesery to protect us as youth workers and also youth in daily work. The objectives of this project were: To learn about the reality of youth work in Croatia, Istrian region; To support understanding of youth work realities of participating countries; To improve working methods of organizations with youth from different backgrounds; To learn about youth work in towns and rural area and compare them; To foster partnership building between organizations included; To explore the added value of the European dimension of youth initiatives; To facilitate the acquisition by participants of communication, teamwork and project management skills of international activities and networking; To understand the impact and social change a youth center can have within the local community; To increase the strategic thinking of youth workers in order to create long-term interventions for personal and professional development of young people.
