Objectives

By implementing the project, we achieved the following objectives: Objective 1: To increase awareness among young people about environmental challenges and the importance of collective responsibility in addressing them. Objective 2: To enhance the skills of youth workers to effectively communicate with young people about sustainability and position them as agents of change. Objective 3: To foster a sense of scientific citizenship and green skills among young people through interactive tools, preparing them for a future workforce centered around the green economy.

Background

We applied for this project in order to provide an opportunity and new innovation for youth workers and young people. By engaging and empowering we wanted to contribute to addressing environmental and climate challenges aligning with the principles established in international conferences such as the Earth Summit. Through this project, we aimed to help increase awareness among young people about environmental issues, improve the communication skills of youth workers in sustainability topics, and promote scientific citizenship and green skills among both youth and youth workers. Additionally, we wanted to prepare young people for the future workforce that is increasingly focused on the green economy. Finally, by satisfying the needs of youth and youth workers and thus creating good quality material capable of preparing them to become true agents of change for a sustainable future, the project addressed the needs of young people.
