Through the successful implementation of our project, we aimed to address the pressing issues surrounding the digital engagement of young people in Europe and selected partner countries. Our objectives were meticulously designed to meet these challenges head-on and create a positive impact. Here is a comprehensive overview of what we achieved: Objective 1: We took 53 participants and 5 group leaders, from four different nations and provided them with comprehensive knowledge in the five fundamental overall digital skills: Information and data literacy skills, Communication and collaboration skills, Problem-solving skills, Digital content creation skills, Media literacy and Safety skills . Our non-formal learning environment fostered an atmosphere of active engagement, exploration, and growth. We conducted hands-on workshops, interactive sessions, and real-world exercises to ensure that each participant not only understood these skills but also gained practical experience in applying them. By the end of the project, all participants had a solid grasp of these fundamental digital skills, empowering them to navigate the digital landscape with confidence. Objective 2: One of our primary objectives was to reshape the participants' perspectives regarding the internet and the digital world. We strived to shift their perception from seeing the digital realm as a realm of aimless social media browsing to a space where they could harness its potential for personal and professional growth while ensuring their safety. Throughout the project, we engaged the participants in thought-provoking discussions, provided them with real-world case studies, and showcased success stories of individuals who leveraged digital skills for their benefit. Through these efforts, we successfully influenced the attitudes of our participants, making them more aware of the opportunities presented by the internet and technology. They now view these tools as valuable resources for personal development and as platforms to contribute positively to society. The successful accomplishment of our project's objectives led to the realization of our overarching goal: "To improve the overall fundamental digital skills and media literacy of 53 young people from four nations, as well as to influence their attitudes toward more responsible use of technology and the internet, until the project's end." According to the final evaluation, we firmly believe that we have achieved this goal. Our participants are now better equipped to navigate the digital landscape, utilizing their newfound skills for personal and professional growth. They have embraced the principles of responsible digital citizenship, recognizing the importance of online safety and ethical content creation. Furthermore, our project has not only strengthened their individual capabilities but also contributed to the enhancement of society as a whole. As these participants continue to engage with technology and the internet, they are now valuable contributors to the digital world, promoting its responsible and positive use. In summary , our project was a resounding success. We have effectively empowered 53 young individuals with essential digital skills and instilled in them a responsible and proactive approach to digital engagement. These achievements align perfectly with our project's vision and objectives, fostering a generation of young people ready to thrive in the digital age while making meaningful contributions to society.
