Project Summary What We Want to Achieve According to research on the climate crisis, the first thing we need to do to minimize the harmful effects of the crisis is to reduce carbon emissions as much as possible. Reducing carbon emissions to half their current level by 2030 and to zero by 2050 is the solution that comes to mind based on the results of climate crisis research. The concept that emerges in this context is net zero emissions. Net zero emissions means equalizing the carbon absorption capacity of green areas and seas with human-induced greenhouse gas emissions and thus establishing a balance in which greenhouse gases in the atmosphere will not increase. It is very important to reach the net zero emission target for a sustainable, livable world. The main condition for achieving this goal is that non-governmental organizations, governments, the private sector and individuals should act together and carry out diligent activities. By implementing our project in this context, #we contributed to raising awareness on the need to reduce the use of fossil fuels to zero as much as possible. #The necessity of turning to renewable energy sources such as wind, sun and water was emphasized. #Individuals were supported to raise awareness about the concept of green energy. #The importance of making efforts to stop deforestation was highlighted and the positive effects of restoring forests and vegetation on the concept of sustainability were emphasized. #By implementing our project, we have contributed to sensitization, especially about how even a single individual can focus on their own net zero goal by making small changes in their lifestyle. Our Goals #We contributed to increasing the awareness of Youthpass Certificate and Erasmus Plus Programs. #Awareness raising on environmental sustainability, green behaviors and environmentally friendly behaviors was supported. #Participants and the target group were encouraged to use environmentally friendly practices. #Participants were encouraged to gain sensitivity towards universal problems. #Individuals were informed about renewable energy sources. #Young people were sensitized to the need to move away from racism, discrimination and prejudiced attitudes. #Individuals with limited opportunities were supported to benefit from equal opportunities. #We cntributed to making international communication and cooperation efforts visible. #Participants and the target audience were raised awareness on net zero emissions. #Contributed to raising both individual and social awareness on net zero emissions.
