Með verkefninu Landsþingi Ungmennaráðs Samfés 2023 vildum við gefa ungu fólki tækifæri til að taka þátt, bera málefni sín á borð skv. hugmyndum um unglingalýðræði og koma rödd sinni framfæri. Á Landsþinginu fékk ungt fólk tækifæri til taka þátt í vinnustofun og að láta rödd sína heyrast. Í kjölfarið á landsþinginu tók ungmennaráð saman niðurstöður og sendir ályktanir á ráðuneyti, sveitarstjórnir og fjölmiðla eftir því hvort ástæða þykir. Tilgangur Landsþings ungs fólks er m.a. að gefa unglingum af öllu landinu tækifæri til að bera málefni sín á borð skv. hugmyndum um unglingalýðræði. Við vildum tryggja virka þátttöku ungs fólks af öllu landinu að koma og taka þátt á þessum frábæra viðburði þar sem að lýðræðisleg vinnubrögð eru alls ráðandi. Virk þátttaka, aðkoma og rödd unglinga á Landsmóti eru lykilatriði í viðspyrnu í æskulýðs- og forvarnarstarfi á landsvísu. Fulltrúar Ungmennaráðs Samfés koma að hugmyndavinnu, skipulagi og framkvæmd með því að velja málefni og viðfangsefni sem tekin voru fyrir á öllu Landsmótinu. - With the project 'Landsþingi Ungmennaráðs Samfés 2023', we wanted to give young people the opportunity to participate, bring their issues to the table according to the ideas of youth democracy, and make their voices heard. At the Landsþing, young people had the opportunity to participate in workshops and to express their voices. Following the Landsþing, the youth council compiled the results and sent resolutions to ministries, local governments, and the media as deemed appropriate. The purpose of the Landsþing for young people is, among other things, to give teenagers from all over the country the opportunity to bring their issues to the table according to the ideas of youth democracy. We wanted to ensure active participation of young people from all over the country to come and participate in this fantastic event, where democratic practices are paramount. Active participation, involvement, and the voice of teenagers at the National Meeting are key elements in the resilience of youth and prevention work nationwide. Representatives of Ungmennaráðs Samfés contribute to the ideation, planning, and implementation by selecting the issues and topics that were addressed at the entire Landsmót.
