Objectives

The lives of all of us and in particular of younger children are conditioned by the use of social networks, this trend is now unstoppable and continuously increasing to the point that in several European countries it has become necessary to adopt a series of measures awareness raising for the correct use of the internet and social networks, aimed at schools and families. This problem is even more accentuated in cities like ours, Potenza, with few recreational spaces and places for young people and where, not always, children can practice outdoor activities, attend cinemas and theaters or participate in sporting and social events; this is where the role of associations becomes particularly fundamental both for promoting cultural events and meetings and for organizing tournaments. Our Traguardo Europa wanted to contribute by carrying out this project which gave priority to digital education, managing to demonstrate that the time dedicated to social networks, if well channelled, can represent a great opportunity for growth and learning for our children. With the realization of this project we have: - offered the young participants of EU Influencers the opportunity to approach social networks with greater awareness and critical sense for a "non-passive" use of social media, we provided them with the tools necessary to independently recognize skills, practices, technologies, professionalism basis of a good quality and successful message. - fostered cooperation with other European associations so as to develop within an international team a series of skills, including linguistic ones, useful for correct navigation in this "parallel world". - promoted this opportunity offered by Erasmus Plus on social networks through "storydoing" and role playing. - oriented the participants not only towards the active and positive use of social networks, but also towards the new web professions in this field. The objective we achieved was the massive dissemination of one or more Erasmus Plus themed messages, which the participants chose to design, implement and promote together, they had the real feeling of being part of a professional social marketing team taking as an example the "INFLUENCERS" such as topmodels, singers, actors and athletes specialized in their fields of work and who have taken on increasingly important roles by launching various kinds of messages aimed at "promotion". With the help of its partners, Traguardo Europa managed to "turn off" the spotlight on the influencer as a carrier of the message, to "turn it on" instead on the TEAM, creator, manager and promoter of the initiatives. “EU Influencers" managed to provide all participants with: team building, creativity, intellectual curiosity and active participation, through the use of common and familiar tools. We addressed various questions together such as: what is behind an influencer? who supports it? what type of language does it use and what technological tools? How do you relate to followers and haters? How is a successful idea born? and other questions that gave us the opportunity to orient ourselves in this vast and fascinating world, we managed to understand it and replicate some positive models.
