While creating our project, we examined the researches on why television addiction increases in young children, what causes television addiction to increase and what should be done to prevent this increase. According to the results we have obtained from the researches, we have seen that television has negative effects on adults, but even greater dangers await children. We have reached the conclusion that especially television addiction causes speech, social skills and mental retardation in children. As a result, within the scope of our project topic, we thought that children addicted to television are likely to have problems in many areas in the future, parents should also be conscious and educators should be made aware of this issue. We tried to raise awareness about this problem, to clarify this problem and to develop solutions to it. In this context, we decided to apply the project primarily to young parents and age groups with the potential to become parents. Our Goals *We contributed to raising awareness of young people and prospective parents from European countries about child development. *We have created awareness that the problem of television addiction is not an individual but a social problem and that it will even become a global problem in the future. *We ensured that our participants in our project raised awareness about child development and that they should contribute to raising a healthier new generation as much as possible. *We helped our participants raise awareness about the adverse effects of television on child development. *We contributed to our participants and target audience to raise awareness about how to spend quality time with children. *We helped our participants and target audience to raise awareness about learning what to do with children when they don't need to watch TV. *We enabled our participants and target audience to learn new information about the main goals, priorities, and principles of Erasmus+ Programs. *Within the scope of Inclusion and Diversity, one of the priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme, we ensured that young people with fewer opportunities benefit from equal opportunities. *By avoiding prejudices, we helped cultural exchange among our participants thus establishing intercultural interaction. * We encouraged the participants in our project to get to know different countries and cultures closely and to stay away from racist attitudes. *During our project, we prioritized the development of multilingualism by supporting our participants to communicate in English. *Thanks to the digital studies carried out during our project, we supported our participants in developing digital competence, learning with computer technology, and gaining new personal skills.
