Summary of our Project Nowadays, individuals or institutions of all ages create their own accounts and actively use social media. In this sense, in addition to communicating, social media is also used as a tool for self-expression, advertising, persuasion and influence. Social media can be used in any environment where there is internet and a technological device that can access accounts. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the use of social media for children and young people and provide information about conscious use. For young people, how, how often and for what purpose social media accounts are used should be monitored by the young person and his family. However, especially in terms of emotional needs, young people are vulnerable to being hurt or hurt here. Today, many families impose usage restrictions on their children in order to protect them from the negative effects of social media. However, restricting or banning social media in today's conditions is not a constructive and useful solution. Instead of restricting it, individuals should be taught how to use it more healthily, efficiently and consciously. In this sense, incorrect and unconscious use of social media can unfortunately have negative effects on young people. To give an example, young people can negatively evaluate their own selves and lives by looking at the online lives of their peers, can be exposed to cyberbullying, can develop uncontrolled and unnecessary consumption habits, can cause traumatic emotions and thoughts by being exposed to unwanted content, and can lead to lack of social skills and attention problems. Due to these situations, we also implemented our project, **To raise awareness among young people about the physical and mental disorders caused by social media, **To encourage young people to spend the time spent on social media by developing personal hobbies, **To help young people gain both spiritual and personal skills.
