The project THE FUTURE STARTS NOW has undertaken a cultural itinerary capable of leading the young people involved to a greater awareness of being a European citizen, facilitating this awareness with the use of languages accessible to everyone. Our association has always tried to involve and bring together young people, trying to inspire curiosity and interest in the new and the many possibilities offered by Europe, especially with art and music: a cultural exchange project that promotes aggregation and inclusion, and that is able to spread locally the correct ideology of sharing culture and one's life with minorities and with young people with fewer difficulties. The objectives of the project were: -to bring young people closer to the world of art, music, dance and theatre to combat the problem of social exclusion and youth hardship; -to address harmful attitudes that arise in our community, including disinterest in the many difficult situations; -keep young people engaged and enhance their abilities so as to enhance the development of their personality through art and culture; -promote socio-cultural inclusion in the community of reference; -prevent attitudes that are harmful to the whole society, such as exclusion and social marginalization; -support active citizenship at local and European level; -encourage collaboration between associations and any form of aggregation, encouraging dialogue between different countries on a common theme; -improve knowledge of foreign languages, English in particular.
