Objectives

"ACTEY" was a youth exchange hosted in the Casale della Nocerqua (Capranica Scalo, VT) and Rome (Italy). The project has been created from the need and desire of a group of young people connected to Project xx1 to develop this activity to promote the value of diversity and inclusion, especially: mental health, lgbtq+ rights, immigration, poverty, disabilities . The project is connected to the activities and services that Project xx1 regularly develops in the context of theatre and digital arts in favor of the local communities. This activity was framed within European policies in the youth sector and applied through the Erasmus+ programme. The main objective of the project was to create a meeting opportunity for young people in a stimulating and creative context to reflect on fundamental issues such as diversity and inclusion through digital tools. The specific objectives were: - To value diversity as a precious stimulus for learning, growing, and personal wellbeing; - To generate an intercultural dialogue where youngsters could appreciate the diversities between their own cultural references; - To foster active participation among youngsters, promoting the Strategy for Inclusion and Diversity of the Erasmus+ programme and the European Solidarity Corps; - To learn to develop collectively creative and innovative solutions to promote the concept of inclusion, cooperation, participation, and collective decision-making also in local contexts. - To promote creativity and innovation through interactive theatre techniques and to experience art as a tool of mutual understanding, tolerance and social transformation; - To share good practice and experience on inclusion and active citizenship, applicable to different local contexts.
