"#sonsandaughters: all the children are our sons and daughters. The Refugee Children on the Balkan Route" meant to be an international and itinerant project of art, education, as well as social denunciation, but furthermore it meant to be a project of inclusion, civic education and engagement and integration whose goal was to put children and youth back at the center of every political, economical and social decision. This was the main message of the initiative. These kids and the young people involved in the project had to be the focus; their well-being, their safeguard, their opinions and their development had to be at the centre of the attention, and our aim was to bring them also to the attention of the economic, political and social choices of our institutions, but not only. In fact, through the stencil artworks, through the videos and the pictures, through the words, the voices, the faces, the thoughts of our kids and youth, through them the public opinion had to see a different aspect of the "migration" issue. People had to see things from an other point of view, the point of you of our kids and youth, a positive and constructive point of view.
