The 21st century has seen a growing awareness of the significance and relevance of human rights, spurred by pressure from various social movements. Human rights education stands out as one of the paramount methods for upholding human rights. By instilling a deep-seated understanding of human rights principles, it cultivates a generation capable of embodying these ideals in every aspect of their lives. Understanding human rights is about knowing what they are and how to use them. We did a study with our partners and found that many young people don't know their rights. Adults also often ignore young people's rights, which stops young people from standing up for themselves. They need strong allies to help them. As youth workers and volunteers, we need to know about youth rights and the law. Young people need us to be their best supporters. Teaching youth workers and volunteers about youth rights helps build trust. When we help young people speak up for themselves within their rights, we make them stronger. Supporting them to use their voices and understand systems makes them better at managing their lives. That's why we're planning to run a training program. Its goal is to boost the abilities of youth workers in understanding human rights. We want them to become advocates who champion human rights by using non-traditional teaching methods in their work with young people. One of the main objectives were to provide a better understanding of human rights and their application in daily life and raise awareness on the concepts of human rights education and democratic citizenship education. Another objectives were not only to enhance participants' abilities in utilizing 'Compass' as a means to advocate for human rights education but also to acquaint participants with pertinent mechanisms and tools to aid in the implementation and promotion of human rights advocacy. To provide participants with an understanding of contemporary concepts, institutions, and essential documents concerning human rights at a global scale and to encourage networking and the sharing of ideas and best practices among different stakeholders were one of the important aims as well.
