Objectives

[ENG] Street art is not only a subculture, but also a herald of its era and a creator of dialogue, which often reflects various social problems. Likewise, street art is a tool for solving various social and political issues, including bringing the local community together and creating an inclusive environment. By implementing this project, we wanted to promote the understanding of street art, its goals, meaning and power, its use as a tool or method in solving various social issues, by means of non-formal education methods. In order for all this information to be easily understood by young people, participants, it was done with innovative, flexible non-formal education methods, exchange of experience in an organization that operates in the street art industry and has significant experience in cooperation with both artists and audiences. As part of the project, the young people gained more in-depth knowledge about street art, gained experience about the management and behind-the-scenes of creating street art, as well as discussed its meaning and main goals and also created their own works of art. This is also the power of street art - you don't have to go to a museum to enjoy street art, it's for everyone!
