Living in an era of rapidly advancing technology, the use of digital devices and the virtual world often keeps youngsters confined indoors, leading to a potential risk of health and developmental issues, and thus, social exclusion. We see fewer and fewer young people engaging in interactive and inclusive outdoor activities. Playing games is part of life and engaging youngsters in the significance of outdoor activities is crucial for enhancing social inclusion, holistic development, active participation, and the gaining of essential life skills. Including You(th) was a project that was focused on encouraging and enhancing social inclusion, active participation, and physical and mental well-being of youngsters with fewer opportunities, using outdoor activities as the main learning tool. During Including You(th) we created a playful environment for young people with fewer opportunities in which they could explore the various dynamics of working and co-living with others while experiencing different methods of inclusion. The objectives of the project were the following: - To bring 7 Group Leaders together in an APV in order to prepare the youth exchange and all its aspects - To bring together 28 youngsters with fewer opportunities (age 18-25) and 7 group leaders to exchange best practices - To improve cooperation, communication and organizational skills through outdoor activities, games, and trips - To create situations in which the youngsters have a chance to communicate, exchange and create within the group and find ways of working with others - To increase the sense of initiative and active participation by doing simple tasks and organizing activities for one another - To increase the mental and physical well-being through outdoor activities and consuming healthy food - To create and disseminate 7 articles about the project (each partner organization) which will be shared on social media and with the partner organizations - To disseminate 7 testimonials (each partner org) which will be shared on social media and with the partner organizations - To create one video/partner organization throughout the project in which is shown own experience of being included and cooperating as a group shared on social media - To organize 7 outdoor activities in the local communities of each participating organization - To ensure that the evaluation of the learning happens throughout the project through 35 Youth Passes and 35 questionnaires
