Objectives

The project was an innovative initiative to raise awareness among young people about the role of traffic in environmental protection. Activities focused on raising knowledge and awareness of the impact of transportation on air quality. This initiative prioritized walking, cycling, public transport and electric vehicles. It promoted travel through integrated, socially inclusive and environmentally friendly options without depending on privately owned vehicles. Sustainable and accessible mobility was at the core of a livable city. Today, cities are experiencing unprecedented levels of car and truck traffic resulting in air pollution, gas emissions, congestion and accidents. By providing communities with sustainable access to goods, services and opportunities, Ecomobility can improve quality of life and create a better living environment. Eco-mobility includes sustainable and ecological mobility. All of these relate to a sustainable way of transporting people or goods. In other words, we are talking about means of transportation that respect the environment. Eco-mobility is a "new" term that refers to means of transport that are capable of transporting people or goods in a sustainable way, protecting and caring for the environment. Conventional means of transportation not only consume a large amount of energy resources, but also emit a large number of pollutants. The main goal of eco-mobility is respect, protection and care for the environment. The path to achieving this goal in itself brings numerous advantages and improvement of the quality of life. In this context, the general goal of the project was: Increasing awareness among young people about using eco-friendly transport. The specific objectives were: 1. Increasing awareness among young people about the advantages of sustainable and ecological transport. 2. Promotion of a critical opinion among young people about eco-mobility and the advantages for health and the environment.
