The primary objective of the project "Young People Discuss Women's Rights" was to address the pervasive and destructive issue of violence against women and girls, a significant human rights violation worldwide. We aimed to enhance awareness and sensitivity about this issue among both men and women, recognizing that these factors play a crucial role in combating such violence. Specifically, the project sought to: 1)Facilitate Discussion on the Causes of Violence Against Women: We aimed to delve into the underlying causes of this global social problem, exploring our responsibilities as young individuals in addressing it. 2)Foster International Collaboration and Perspective Sharing: The project was designed to bring together young people from various countries to discuss the issue from multiple angles, find locally implementable solutions, and share insights on state policies and practices related to violence against women worldwide. 3)Encourage Critical Inquiry and Awareness: We intended to provoke thought and discussion on several key questions, including the awareness levels of young individuals about this issue, the actual vs. ideal positions of women in society, the extent of economic freedom for women, and the effectiveness of existing initiatives against violence towards women. 4)Implement an Interactive and Educational Program: The project included various activities, discussions, brainstorming sessions, roundtables, and simulations to educate participants about women's rights and the issue of violence against women. We aimed to foster an environment of mutual learning and solution generation. 5)Engage with Local Communities: Through interviews, surveys, and social media campaigns, the project planned to gather diverse opinions and increase local awareness about the issue. 6)Produce Educational and Awareness Materials: The creation of public service ads and digital board games were key components of our strategy to spread awareness and educate people on women's rights. In summary, the project was driven by a commitment to combatting violence against women through education, awareness-raising, and collaborative solution-finding, aiming to effect meaningful change at both the local and global levels.
