Objectives

The Project “Less Digit@l, more Interaction! Looking back to socialising” provided for the implementation of a Youth Exchange with partner countries, was promoted by the Siggiewi Local Council as an opportunity to discuss issues related to Digital Education and the Correct and Ethical use of technologies by young people, and the importance of human interaction versus use of social media in the world of youths. The project idea was to promote dialogue, the exchange of experiences and good practices for the experimentation of new models, which see young proactive and active protagonists for the construction of a healthy and sustainable virtual world, and the activation of tools to prevent antisocial behavior and reduce network-related risks. Objectives reached through his project in the field of KA1 of Erasmus Plus Program: Encourage the active participation and interaction of the participants in the project activities, giving the opportunity to learn, reflect, discuss, put into practice the creativity and talent of the participants with particular attention to young people with fewer opportunities. Promote a cultural and responsible use of forms of digital communication, inviting participants to rediscover the value of "real" and traditional communication. Disseminate and exchange good practices to help young people increase their sense of well-being, prevent antisocial behavior, and reduce discrimination and phenomena of exclusion and marginalization. Supporting intercultural encounters between apparently very different partners in geographical location and historical differences, but sharing similar problems as regards the universe of young people, developing innovative methodologies to prevent and increase knowledge and the ability to protect young people when they use the internet and in particular social networks. Develop intercultural learning and solidarity, promote tolerance to strengthen the inclusive dimension by promoting a better and full integration of disadvantaged young people, ensuring the principle of equal opportunities between men and women without any discrimination. Provide an overview of the European and non-European social and youth reality, thanks to the elements and experiences gained in other countries, in different social and work contexts, which represent the common ground of comparison, creating a climate, relaxed and laborious at the time himself, ideal for human knowledge, the birth of new friendships, the birth of new partnership.
