Through Ready, Set, Go! Empowering Youth Through Outdoor Education and Sports aimed to develop youth workers’ competences on using outdoor education and sports in their youth work especially to tackle the youth’s socialisation and connection skills post-covid. The Objectives of the Training Course were: · - Equipping youth workers with competences to organise outdoor activities to further engage and motivate youth. · - Empowering youth workers to manage and support the de-escalation of conflict amongst youth through outdoor activities and sports. · - Fostering team spirit and sharing of ideas and practices amongst youth workers. · - Encouraging collaboration between youth workers from different countries. · - Empowering youth workers to work in multicultural settings and be culturally sensitive and engaging. Furthermore, the project aimed to nurture a sense of collaboration and the exchange of ideas and best practices among youth workers, and promote cross-cultural collaboration. By fostering intercultural sensitivity and understanding, the program aimed to empower youth workers to operate effectively in multicultural settings, enabling them to engage with diverse groups of young people from various backgrounds.
