The Breaking Barriers Through Football youth mobility project aligned with the core objective of the Erasmus Plus programme. Its primary goal was to unite young people from diverse backgrounds and nations, especially those facing disadvantages. Through a variety of activities, the project sought to foster youth involvement in their communities, encouraging them to recognize and discuss the often unseen barriers present in society. It also aimed to promote critical thinking about social inclusion and explore effective strategies to overcome these obstacles. By participating in the exchange, disadvantaged youths gained confidence, developed an appreciation for cultural diversity in the host city, across Europe, and beyond. Additionally, the project aimed to instill values of solidarity, democracy, and friendship in Europe, ensuring active participation in all aspects of society.
